Tech Dome Penang is a not-for-profit science and technology centre run by Penang Tech Centre. It is an initiative by the Penang State Government and the setup was done in Public Public-Private Partnerships. With an area of approximately 45,000 sq ft,Tech Dome Penang has over 120 interactive science and technology exhibits.

# Faculty of Engineering and Computer Technology (FECT), AIMST University

Located in Bedong, Sungai Petani, Kedah, the *Faculty of Engineering and Computer Technology (FECT)* at AIMST University is a hub of technological education and innovation. The faculty offers a range of courses designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in today's dynamic technological landscape.

## Courses Offered
FECT offers a variety of programs, including:

-Diploma and Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering: These programs provide students with a solid foundation in electrical and electronic engineering principles, preparing them for a range of roles in the industry.

- Bachelor of Computer Science with 3 Specialisms: This program allows students to specialize in one of three cutting-edge areas: Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics. Each specialism is designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in these rapidly evolving fields.

- Bachelor of Science Honours in Software Engineering: This program provides students with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of software engineering, preparing them for a range of roles in the software industry.

- Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Multimedia Technology: This program equips students with the skills needed to excel in the field of multimedia technology, including graphic design, animation, and multimedia programming.

## Registration and Accreditation
AIMST University is registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Malaysia, as a tertiary educational institute under Sections 38 and 39 of the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act of 1996. It formally began its operations on 30 October 2001, coinciding with its registration with the Department of Private Education under the Ministry of Higher Education.

UTP Robotics Society (PETROBOTS) is a well-established robotics society in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and has been active for a long period of time. Originally formed to compete in the ROBOCON, it has gradually evolved to serve as a platform for robotics advancement for undergraduates consisting of students from multidisciplinary backgrounds. UTP PETROBOTS strive to introduce a maker culture within the community, or as the layman term goes – “an urge to create”.

We are the Robocon team from University Malaysia. Our team members are passionate, committed, and creative individuals. In 2019, we had the honor of winning Robocon Malaysia, and we are determined to excel further in the upcoming competition. We are eager to learn from other teams to enhance our robot design and performance. Additionally, we are committed to sharing our knowledge and design expertise with fellow enthusiasts.

Founded in 2022, the Aerospace Society is a student-managed organization committed to the holistic development and well-being of aerospace engineering students. Through meticulously organized initiatives, welfare programs, and industry-related events, we aspire to empower our members with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary for success in their academic and professional journeys within the aerospace field.

Exhibition

The Aerospace Committee will be collaborating with the USM RC Plane Club and the Wau Rocketry USM Club to showcase aerospace-related projects developed by these clubs. Additionally, we aim to promote these clubs to all USM students to attract more participation in STEM-based projects

This students society is mainly established for empowering the proactive quality in each students especially from material and mineral resources to be H.E.B.A.T.

The Civil Engineering Society (CIVES) is an esteemed student organization at the University of Science Malaysia (USM) under the School of Civil Engineering, dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment for civil engineering students. Established in 2019, CIVES has been actively promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and networking opportunities not only for its members but to all engineering students in USM. With a strong online presence on Instagram (@civesusm), the society has successfully connected with alumni, professionals, and fellow students across the globe. Currently, in the year of 2024, the currect committee members of CIVES have organized various types of events and projects in line with the university’s program that specifically designed to give recognition to student involvement through student development program that they joined during their whole academic calendar and recorded in a systematic and sustainable continuous pattern whis is known as Continuous Student Development Program (MyCSD).

ChESS is diverse team of Chemical Engineering undergraduates which had done multiple events. The key attributes of our events include: 

• Industrial Engagement: ChESS had collaborated with multiple companies from the industry in holding Career Talks and Industrial Visits which aims to bridge the gap between students and the industry.
• Student Development Programmes: Events such as physical workshops, competitions, sports event and technical webinars had been done throughout the academic session to enhance the students' technical and soft skills
• Community Engagement : Since 2021, ChESS had its own flagship programme which is the ZeroWaste EcoEnzyme. The programmed had been done and implemented in villages and schools as well with the support of other organisations such as UNESCO and MyStarFish Foundation

USM Mechanical Engineering Students' Society (MECHYS) - Universiti Sains Malaysia Mechanical Engineering Student Society (MECHYS) is a student society that has become an integral part of the USM School of Mechanical Engineering. We aim to create holistic students through social events, meetings and workshops.
