Life Extension and Prolongation (LEAP-X) Mk. III
Life Extension and Prolongation (LEAP-X) Mk. III
LEAP-X looks like a normal smart mirror, but it incorporates contactless vital sign monitor on multispectral cameras, a 3D scanners, and gas sensors to assess the health of someone looking into it. It does this by examining the person's face and extract the vital sign via vision based system such as (heart rate, breath rate and SpO2), looking at fatty tissue, or precisely the brown adipose tissue that measure the metabolism of a person, facial expressions and how flushed or pale they are.
Need:
This is important as our goal is to make preventive medicine screening device. which is the most viable approach to reduce the socio-economic burden of chronic and widespread diseases, such as cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
Approach:
To solve this problem, we come out with novel medical chatbot with contactless vital sign monitor embedded on smart screen. The research prior has been done on this : < https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2019JPhCS1372a2025Z/abstract >
Benefit:
system being done contactless and without contact, so it can be used without cross contamination and easy access even on public spaces.
Commercialisation:
The goal is to use LEAP-X to address common long-term health issues that are difficult to treat once something has already gone wrong, like heart disease or diabetes, which in turn become positive return of investment if individual investment or as community investment highlighting the directions to make this device more mainstream in health-related applications.
