GreenBlock Crowdfunding Platform
GreenBlock is a crowdfunding platform specifically for green projects. It offers a convenient and straightforward way for companies to crowdfund green projects. Companies can create a project listing and start a crowdfunding campaign, while the public can choose to support any project by contributing a certain amount of money. Through this platform, companies can increase public awareness of green projects, raise funding for green initiatives and obtain contributions from the public. The vision of creating GreenBlock is to increase public involvement in supporting and sustaining innovative green technology. GreenBlock can contribute to SDG9 - Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG17 - Partnerships for the Goals.
Created by Jackson Liew, a year two computer science student at Universiti Sains Malaysia(USM).
About Us
In terms of global partners, the school has always maintained strong and strategic linkages with universities in North America, Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East. These smart partnerships include long standing research collaborations with several French universities on natural language processing, distributed computing and artificial intelligence. The joint supervision of postgraduate students is made possible through such linkages.
Over the next decade, the School of Computer Sciences will continue its efforts to strengthen its curriculum and research in order to produce quality graduates and to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation.
