Pygame Monster Wrangler
Monster wrangler is a game developed using Python. In this game, player needs to control the wrangler to catch the monsters. The game
will specify the color of monster which player needs to catch. When the player catches or collides with the wrong color of monster, the
player will lose one life and the player is given a total of 5 lives in one game. On the other hand, when the player catches the correct color of
monster, the player will obtain a score and then the game will specify the next color of monster that player needs to catch. The monster will
only move inside the given arena and player need to move inside there to catch the monster. Once player goes inside the arena, it is not
allowed to come back to the save zone. However, player can press the ‘SPACE’ button to warp back to the save zone and there are total of 3
warps given in one game. Next, when all the monsters have been caught, the player will be assigned to the next level of game and game
will be reset with even more monsters. Lastly, when the player used up all the lives, the game will end and the final will score pop out on
the screen. The score obtain is depend on the level of game that the player achieves and also the time taken to catch all the monster in
each level.
About Us
Robotics Club USM, is a gathering/club that provide a platform for students who are interested to learn, research, and development about robot. In USM, Robotics Club is a club which is under the supervision of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. However, the club also consists of members from various schools for instance School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering and etc. Basically this club is one of the clubs wholly organized by students where lecturers act as managers.
Recently, USM Robotics Club mainly focuses on Research and Development (R&D) to develop new technology to apply in the robotics for solving some specific tasks. By having R&D department, we manage to improve our technology level to get a better performance for our robots.
Hopefully with these skills and knowledge our members gain from here, they can develop a new and useful technology to have a better life for human-being in future.
