Portable Hydroelectric Generator
An electric rotating machine that transforms mechanical power from a hydraulic turbine or water wheel into electric power. Portable hydroelectric generator is a device to generate an electrical energy by combining an electrical generator and propulsion which is packed simply. The propulsion has a function to trigger the generator by using a high water flow.
Advantages of generating hydroelectricity are hydropower provides benefits beyond electricity generation by providing flood control, irrigation support and clean drinking water. Hydropower is affordable. Hydropower provides low-cost electricity and durability over time compared to other sources of energy.

Staying true to its objectives, IET-USM On Campus aims to provide USM students a medium to expose themselves to networking and professional opportunities. Alongside that, IET-USM On Campus also provide a suitable platform by hosting activities with an aim to widespread the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education especially to primary and secondary school students, following the urges by IET.
In the future, IET-USM On Campus looks forward to expanding its network in the Northern Region through more exciting and fun activities, as well as visit programmes.
