Zero Waste EcoPotion
This initiative was made form EcoEnzyme by Exco Environment and Sustainability Members of ChESS 2021/2022. EcoEnzyme or more commonly known as Garbage Enzyme is a multipurpose liquid that is produced from the fermentation of organic waste. Once fermented for 3 months it can be used as a natural floor cleaner, kitchen cleaner, dishwashing liquid, air purifier, insect repellent, pesticide and fertilizer.
The ultimate Multipurpose Solution. The benefits of using this method compared to consumer grade commercial detergent or cleaning agents is because to reduce the amount of organic waste piling up in landfills and reduce production of greenhouse gas. Since we use the wastes from households and restaurants such as fruits and vegetables, we reduce the waste and convert them into something usable.

The process takes approximately 3 months with a starting material list so short it consists only of brown sugar/molasses, empty plastic bottle and organic waste. Once completed the solution can be harvested and diluted to ratios and then used. The process is so simple anyone can do it !
Well, although the EcoPotion products have been produced and ready for launch, it is not the end of our flagship project! We will have our next outreaching programme for community education in rural village area, and we also have our business platform on Shopee.
